Organic…100%
Please check your ego at the door. Thank youThis is where your reading comprehension has failed again. What I said was:
Read the first 4 words carefully. If I wanted to beat the organic drum I would have began with artificial light, questioned the container and tomato fertilizer.
I gave him tips that he can use right now with things they may potentially have available without the "let's go shopping" consumerism knee jerk reaction you have. I'm surprised you didnt link to a site vendor in the next breath.
Just go buy a light from a real brand so you don't burn your house down. In order to grow you need to invest in a grow light. Vipraspectre has 150 watt cheap on Amazon or go full bore and buy a spider farmer. Either way, don't cheap out on the light of all things. Good luck
After the transition to "dark mode" the plant has an opportunity to be shifting phytochrome to its active form (Pfr to Pr) promoting reproductive growth over vegetative. There is plenty of leaf material there. Also allows energy conservation and repair processes. Basicly storing sugars for daytime use and repairing dna, processing waste. So not really a good idea to limit those needed processes to the bare minimum, or into deficit.
Again here, your blender brain prevents comprehension.Phytochromes do not store sugars or process waste. What waste? Like plant poop?
What waste? Like plant poop?
No experience with them. But I can recommend a couple videos. They are a little older but still have good info to learn from. You can always get more up to date info by searching around.
Why don't you just wait until you harvest that plant and get the full experience, then decide if its something you are wanting to do again. If you want to continue, you can build up equipment and grow space as you can and as you go along. Sometimes used stuff is available in your area.
I just measured the light at the top of the leaves using the photone app,i get readings of about 26.000 lux,do i need more?.
