Hello guys!

I'm sharing some pictures taken with relative cheap gear.

Canon 5D Mark III
Canon 40mm F/2.8
Canon Speedlite 430EX
Lifx Led bulb
Black trash-bag (background)

Camera brand is not that crucial, entry level DSRL are perfect.
The crucial is a good lens with macro specs. The 40mm is cheap and very sharp w/macro.
Also, I'm using only the grow lights with interesting results.

Man I’m game for a camera and really liked your coutures and you said it wasn’t too expensive, Jesus it said almost 2k lol

I guess the under 500 when I was looking at Best Buy are bs ? I just wanna have a good camera to do good enough pictures that can handle led light and macro bud shots ( I’m not a professional photographer, not bashing on ya in any way, wish I had it lol )

You can take photos like this only with this gear and the grow light.


You don't need that expensive but any compact camera can't compare with dslr. the results worth the learning curve.
Fuji, Sony has way more expensive compact cameras.

Well you just made my day bro, I was definitely in the clouds for what to buy and looked on a few websites for top 10 cameras website links and YouTube’s . Sounds to me you know what your doing by your camera purchase choice and picture quality . Thanks for your suggestions and help
