Another Dep Tunnel ?

My girl and I have been pulling tarp over a 40' x 20' dep tunnel with minimal effort. Tonight it was a different story. It had rained a bit, and the tarp was "sticky" as hell. We finally got it, but it was a total bitch. Any thoughts on making it easier..?

Build something like a 'golden arm' tarp puller. Or buy one - but the company charges $1500 for something you can build for about $150 out of parts from the hardware store.

Or for a cheap and simple option bunch up some of the tarp around a tennis ball, then tie some rope to that so you can toss the rope over the hoop house and pull from the other side.

Has been pretty wet this year in Humboldt. Very moist in the mornings. We use reinforced tarps where we fold the plastic over a bit on one side and use metal loops we install that clamp together like button and give you something nice to pull off of. Upgrading to Conleys now that have my permits getting in place. 2018 should be nice...
