so here is the deal

there is a lot to read on this forum and other about coco
but I will give you the rundown

coco needs to be fed everyday
coco needs to be fed the same ph everyday
coco needs a very consistant ec everyday
coco needs to be fed to runoff 10-15% every day

so here is my advice

feed per galon
3ml CalMg+(botanicare)
3ml grow
2ml micro
1ml bloom

keep your lights 18" above canopy
feed once a day....every day for 1 week

update this thread with a picture once a day
and we will see the progression from startpoint to end of seven days

during that time use the search function for coco growing

there are some dudes on here with great writeups on the use of coco that has great information

we will def help you along
but I advise to do as much reading as you can

another GIANT piece of advice

do not get hung up of diagnosing deficiencies
in coco if you feed correctly there wont be any to diagnose
and if you see the plant getting to light you up your feed
getting to dark you lower your feed

super simple

hope this helps

U dont test the grow median in coco
this isnt soil..
I told you you got to forget everything you ever learned..
Go read about cation exchange in coco
Go read about growing in coco

If you dont your gonna take a chance on losing your plants.. You make new batch of nutes each time you feed, you ph and ec it then, then feed...
Sorry skipped over this post earlier somehow. Great info!

my bad I forgot to give to parameters

coco
ph-5.8-6.0
ec-1.0-1.5 (500-800ppm) *.5 scale
never...EVER...EVER.....feed just plain water
ever

what happens is you wash out the nutrients in the coco and create an imbalance causing the roots to secret acids which throw everything off

so when you flush or you want to reset or something (if you think you fucked something up)
always run half strength through at the least

for myself

*WISHER619 PRACTICES*

from seed to harvest
1.5 ec
5.8ph

never deviate nomatter what
I have never had a bad run

but for you
I want to ease you into it

alot of what I do is considered ADVANCED TECHNIQUE

so I would rather give you a very easy recipe to deal with

so a ratio of
3:2:1
always

micro will always be in the middle no
matter what

the only thing that changes is grow and bloom
so during veg
it is Grow:Micro:Bloom
bloom is
Bloom:Micro:Grow

always 3:2:1 ratio
remember that is the RATIO

we will be starting you off with that as your ml per gal
and we will slowly ramp it up and get you going

Do you add calmag, liquid Kool bloom or bud ripeners anywhere in the 321?

so it will go
Calmg
Micro
Grow
Bloom

no boosters or any additives this round

we got to get him cruising right now

get this thing under his belt and finish out a coco grow

then he can go all out with what ever he wants
I'm trying to learn too, I've been feeding mine 5/5/5 Calmag/micro/grow or micro/bloom/Kool bloom from start to finish for years and I'm tired of small buds and late flower deficiencies. I recently just started Mel frank'S insiders guide recipe, 5m/15b/3g aND my plants seem to like it but now I have these big jugs of calmag and Kool bloom I don't know what to do with...

small buds have nothing to do with your feed .....literally at all
bloom boosters are a farse
all you need is a good all around feed light on the N for bloom and heavier on the Ca

size of buds have to do with
Genetics
Lights
Roots Mass
CO2 availability

Right now in my grow I have a strain that is building 2liters
and another are literally marble sized nugs

oh and end of flower def?
@DrMcSkunkins
2 weeks before chop you should do a heavy flush
then just water
then 1 week out another heavy flush to get your ppms in the media down as close to 0 as possible
then just water till 48hours prior to chop
let it die on the stem
then chop
and hang

I understand completely @EventHorizan and @Wisher619. Im not a total dummy. :)
LOl,, We just making sure you have the right info... Its just very important to mix calmag first, then micro 2nd, grow 3rd, and bloom 4th, so they all mix real good.. Well off to work..

I always do calmag last and micro first
What ????? You mean runner up for grower of the month didn't know your supposed to lick it, BEFORE you stick it.. Not Afterwards you get shit on you tongue Jimmy.....

If you look on Gh feed schedule,
in small print,
it says mix calmag first,
Unless, and get this Jimmy,
UNLESS,
your adding Si,
then you add the Si first ,
then calmag,
then micro....

Then you hit it, like you ain't never gonna quit it!
