Some say Superthrive overpriced

One grower on Amazon reviews stated he had tried it on vegetables in a side by side and decided there was no difference. He also suggested using Azomite instead as it is cheaper. Not sure if it can be used for hydro nor how it would have to be used. Maybe power blend a very small amount in your hydro water and allowed to settle and use the water minus the sediment at the bottom or something.

I don't know about it increasing yields or anything like that, but I use it with every transplant, and when I do cuttings. If for some reason you shock a plant, Superthrive is the go-to to get-right on her. Use at 1-10 drops per gallon of water (start light).

At a drop per gallon I can afford it. They have had a challenge out for years, to get someone to make a better product. Pretty sure no on has collected the cash. Peace GS

I've never used it (they don't sell it here) but what I love about it is that scientists can't validate the products claim and out right say it's snake-oil, when many people who use it swear by it which reminds me to not trust everything science claims.

FYI Superthrive's main active ingredients are 1-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) which is a non-natural organic compound in the auxin family and is used in many commercial plant rooting horticultural products. It is a rooting agent and used for the vegetative propagation of plants from stem and leaf cutting and it is also used for plant tissue culture. The other main ingredient of note is triacontanol, which is a natural plant growth stimulant found in alfalfa. Both NAA and triacontanol have been proven to be beneficial to plant growth, so yes, Superthrive does indeed work.

for seeds, clones and veg. increases growth but will elongate nodes, so find a dilution rate that works for you, and try not to get epileptic looking at the bottle lol, peace, og

Its good stuff, makes the plant a little greener but honestly not worth the money, even at 1ml per gal. Only to be used in veg so yeild increases are bs.

I use it when I use a sterile/dead res. In veg, 1/3 ml per gallon plus peroxide and I have been happy with the results. In flower, 1/3 to 1/2 ml per gallon for the first 3 weeks plus hydrogen peroxide or DM Zone.

Superthrive is one of the few additives you can use when using a sterile res.

I'm running RDWC (UC and MPB) for flower. My flat tables, depending on timing, I sometimes use organics to speed up root growth. But before transplant to my flower rooms, I always "flush" with superthrive and hydrogen peroxide.

Good info Blaze, yes superthrive does indeed work and works very well, it's the longest lasting original line of fertilizers produced, make sure you only use a little bit tho and i use it in conjunction with a few other things. Take it easy

works great for cloning, germing and just in general, I also use VF-11 as a foliar spray twice a week(as do alot of other locals in my area) done side by side with outstanding results. Get free samples @ www.vf-11plantfood.com been using it for 15 years as foliar and root drench.
