I have a 3x4 flower tent, but with my fans and such, I really only use closer to 3x3 for flower. I'm looking for an led panel that will have equivalent, or greater output than my current 400w mh/hps setup, and want to stay under $200. Looking on Amazon, I found the Vivosun, which claims 4x4 flower coverage, and 2.9 umol. Also found a panel made by Ativia that also claims 2.9 umol, and 3x3.5 coverage, but uses the ELG driver, which I hear isn't all that good.

I don't trust vivosun for electronics, just my opinion, but their LED lights seem to have very good reviews on Amazon compared to everything else they sell.

My main concern is that they're only 200w. After some more searching I found I can get 2 SF-1000D's for $180. Two of those would also be 200w. Maybe I could use those, and add a 3rd come flower? They claim a 2x2 footprint per light though, so even with a 3rd, I'm not sure how I'd get even coverage in a 3x4, even if only using 3x3. Idk, maybe they'd do just fine, and I'm overthinking it. Totally new to led.

I am getting a 3x3 tent and was looking for an LED to grow with. I wanted to get a Spider Farmer, 300w for $340. Throughout my research I came across the Mars Hydro FCE3000, 300w for $280 with a $50 discount on Amazon. They also have the Mars Hydro TSW2000 300w for $250 with a $20 discount (those prices are WITH the discount). I know you have a financial limit, but IMO if you can fork over an extra 50 bucks for a 300w light instead of a 200w light it would make up for it in yield your first harvest, easily.

I still haven't decided on a light yet, but I am leaning towards the Mars Hydro FCE3000.

Thanks. I'm actually liking the idea of the TSW2000. An extra $50 up front would get me the same 300w as the 3 SF1000's, be cheaper overall, and only one light to lang.

I was also looking at the Bloom Plus BP3000. It 300w, and uses 1174 Samsung 2835 diodes. I don't know if those are good or not, but I've seen a number of people with these panels say that they are impressed by by them. Only $240 on Amazon right now. Or 2 of the BP1500 would give the same diode count and wattage, and would come in at $220.

Don't know which would be better.
