Anyone that has done a 30gallon living soil in grow tent.

Anyone out there that can give me a few pointer with using a grassroot living soil 30gallon pot do I have to layer anything on the bottom first or just pour the living soil into it take it from there

I use one. I did 3 to 4" of crushed field stone with sand on top of it on bottom. Then a clay and sand mix called loam with 10% of my living soil mixed in for the next six inches.then my living soil top 9 or ten inches. Then mulch.cant remember how tall the pot was.its called soil horizons saw it on future canabiss project on youtube.works good .made 3 runs in it so far.

I have 1 in a 2×2 it takes up th whole thing. I Do 2 plants in it or one big one.did six plants in it my first run 12 - 12 from seed.lol it got crowded

Here's when I did six 12 12 from seed.woulnt recommend it,but i was in a time crunch.had no time for veg.

I'm in a 3x3 vivsun grow tent with 380 total watts in it got a vicseptra and a Mars hydro . I'm working on a whole ac infinity kit I can't wait for that

I have switched to rice hulls for mulch.thats wheat straw in the picture..

I pulled 6.5 oz on that one wasn't a total waste of time.mars hydro ts 1000.the smoke was amazing.

Ahh nice that's good also . Oh another thing what da hell do I use for a drip tray do they sell one for that size got something to keep off floor but to to catch water

I am relatively a new grower. I am in recycled living soil made at home. Using a 20 gal for one. And three 40s for the others. I have only ever given them compost tea. I highly recommend either some straw or clover cover crop for you pots. The clover xan help with nutrient uptake, and keep all the goodies in your soil safe. Happy growing

Now do u need a tray or something under the 30gallon pot or strait on the grow tent floor

I have a old carpet under the tent and then inside have 1/2” rubber floor mats. The plants have wire shelf beneath them for air, but no drip tray. I do not try to water until run off, i just try to keep it saturated. Its a pain to start, I am hoping Santa brings me a watering system, lime some blumats!
