Anyone using triple phosphate for bloom boosters?

I have an old bag of triple phosphate (0,45,0) and wondering if using a few tablespoons per 15 gallons soil in ground is a reasonable way to kickstart flowering. I used that to get my plumeria to flower because it needed a P boost. Flowers all over the bag.

I usually throw some down under my plant that are in the ground along with some potassium also. I did that last week.
