Hey farmers I’m back once again and this time it’s to showcase the apples and bananas (CLTVTD cut). I was so impressed with the Grape Gas S1 I had to get another Compound/CLTVTD genetics strain. This will be a single plant grown in a 10 gallon pot in a 3.3x3.3 Mars Hydro grow tent under my brand new Spider Farmer SE5000(480 watts)!!! I won this fixture in Aprils POTM contest and I’m about to have some fun in this space!! I also vend clones so if you like what you see feel free to shoot me a message.

A&B made it into a lot of recent crosses from breeders that I can justify buying from. Like Symbiotic Genetics and Exotic Genetix.

Ya man it’s crazy anything Compound puts out is crazy high priced and now he’s linked up with cookies for some drops. You’re better off buying the cut with packs costing that much. I wanna put some gas in all these desert strains. I got ahold of the OG #18 cut I’m gonna bring it back and cross it into some of these candy strains. Was that the goal with your Triangle grape cake? What’s her terps like?

The Grape Gas was hands down some of the best smoke I’ve ever had and those packs go for the same if you can even find them. It only made sense to grab another cultivar to grow out from Compound/CLTVTD.

I'm sure it was really good weed. I'm really happy with much cheaper seeds. It doesn't make much sense for me to spend more than $25 a seed. The only Compound Gentetics I have smoked was grown by a pro. It was good but not outstanding. I think it was Blueberry Octane or something like that.

Their packs sell out, so the price is right, I guess. Just not for me.

It was my goal yes. I pollinated about a dozen strains with that grape cream cake pollen. The triangle and the original diesel crosses are the best so for but the male I chose doesn’t put off those super grape terps like my grape cream cake keeper has though. Rule of thumb though the sweeter the terps the less effect your going to get. So even though I didn’t get that candy grape terps in the crosses they are very potent. Both od and the tk keepers I found are very similar to the clones but with a hint of grape on the back end.
Do to put into perspective, the gcc female I found I rate the terps at a 8.5 but the high is 5.5-6. Good on the first high but the more you smoke the less high ya get. The triangle grape cake has a 8.5 in high but a 6 on the terps.if you like triangle terps you will love it but if your looking for candy terps the crosses are not it. Same with the od.
But using males it’s the luck of the draw. Never know how they will do. Reversals are easier in that respect with less time wasted.
My Cinderella man (lemon tree x Indiana bubblegum x c99)that is where the high and terps lay. And I’m releasing the female later this year, I also have a male that I crossed to papaya cake and the offspring are freakin fantastic! Day 40 on the off spring and I could be happier.
So now I’m crossing a half dozen cultivars to the Cinderella man.
And I also have male and female of purple punch x Indiana bubblegum x c99. Haven’t given them a name just yet and haven’t tested the offspring on the male but I got a feeling they are going to be just as good. Got some testers ready to pop from that pollen just need to find space lol.
And these two crosses I basically made from scratch using a c99 male. Instead of getting a pack of seeds finding a male and pollinating everything I have so I probabaly wont continue the grape cream cake lines any further. The pp x ibg x c99 is full on bubblegum then the grape comes in and half way down the bowl you start to notice the Cindy. Complex and fun just need to market them right and the out crosses will hang with the other stuff out there on the market today.

But investing in a cut/clone you know others will want and can math [ $$ ] out is a solid plan .
I dig what the " big three " here do with cuts and clones .
I am in and what ever I paid for my GG clone and future purchases, I will recover and have quality bud to boot.

The apples and bananas is adjusting nicely to the new environment and yesterday I watered in a full gallon and had slight run off. I’ve yet to stick to one style of growing I keep experimenting to see what I like best. Big plants, small plants, big pots, small pots. There’s pros and cons to each but this time Im in a 10 gallon pot! I’ve never done that one so I have to learn the watering routine but I got my calendar notebook handy. I’ll be flipping this plant soon I’m thinking next week I’m not sure yet so stay tuned!

Ok guys it’s time to send this plant to flower Monday!! Super stoked to try out running a 10 gal pot and also growing with a brand new setup. This is going to be the biggest plant I’ve flowered indoors and hopefully the biggest yield too. There’s always a bit of a learning curve with trying out different styles of growing but that’s apart of the fun. So I got my notebook handy to write down when I watered and how much. I’m guessing this plant will easily drink more than a gallon a day in flower so I’ll keep adjusting until I get it dialed in. Any input would be appreciated for the guys who grow bigger plants in bigger pots.

Ya I might be able to do I’m always worried I’ll end up in a situation where I run out of headspace. This one seems like it’s gonna be a stretcher too but idk now you got me thinking I should push it back

Take advantage of that huge pot and veg that gal to the max! Keep pulling everything horizontal and under your net trellis. Every node will shoot up a nice cola on that horizontal branch. Try to fill every space in your net with it's own branch.

Listen to me tellin the master how to roll....
