Usually I would do a defoliation a week prior to
Flowering but since she wasn’t in tip top shape I left her alone. I always defoliate on day 21 of flower tho. Over the next week I’ll start removing the growth underneath the net a little at a time until everything below is bare.

This weekend I’ll be close by to keep checking and adjusting how much water she needs. She drank a gallon a day in veg and I’ve also been watering in the gallon slowly so it doesn’t just run out of the pot. I’ll be hooking up my hydro lock drip irrigation and setting timers to do the same while I’m away during the day/night. Stay medicated fam

What do you guys think is possible for yield in this space? What’s the biggest plant you’ve grown indoors? Post pics in the comments and your experience

Tuck and weave!!! The plant is perked up loving the high levels of light and I’m basically “crop steering” as I’m watering small increments thruout the day. This weekend I’m assessing her needs bc this week I’ll be gone while she’s in her second half of the 12/12 cycle. It’s looking like I’ll be watering more than a gallon real soon.

Anyone use roots organics cal/mag? I know she’s gonna need calcium too during these first few weeks but I’m unsure of how it breaks down to dosage of the magnesium it contains per “serving”. I’ve been using 2 grams of Epsom salt in a gallon each day but don’t want to have too much when I add the cal/mag to the equation. I quick google search tells me how much magnesium is in a gram or 2 of Epsom making it easier to figure out the dosage. Pic of my cal/mag

Is it too late to add silica? I’ve never used it and just received my package from buildasoil. I’ll do some research here soon I know you can use it deep in flower. Super stoked to run it from the start to how well it works. I also popped 3 beans that I got from @SweetLeafGrow bc so far 2 of the 5 Mac dragon bx1 popped. I usually get close to 100% germination but if not I’ll have these going too. I’ll probably pick the strongest from each and grow out 5 plants if the others pop up still. Happy Monday fam!

I use the RO cal/mag and epsom salt.
Far from mathing it out I mix proper amount of the cal/mag per gallon when needed and just add epsom as supplement to waterings @1.5 Tsp [.5 Tablespoon] .
I have said that I think LEDS some how increase mg needs, but even the green house ones are the same in needing extra mg. ??
I know I saw a lot less of the yellowing from Mg[ I think ] when I used Jacks 123 calcium as it adds N also ..
Sometimes I wonder if what we see as Mg is N?
Still learning ...

Well I finally got almost everything below the net removed and I’m loving how this is all starting to play out. We got the light at 85% and I’m about to start tucking branches under other branches that are already weaved into that particular section of netting. Here we go!!!!!

I adjusted my cal/mag and Epsom to a similar dosage as you. Ill bump the Epsom back up to 2 grams when I come off the cal/mag at the end of week 3 or so.

Day 11 Flower and this week I started bumping up my watering and it seems she’s asking for more!! I use a lot of kelp extract and recharge and she’s loving it. This has been a super fun grow and I know Compound genetics and CLTVTD got some from growing the grape gas so I can’t wait to see this in full bloom. Everyone stay medicated and have a good weekend

We are rocking at 100% power on the SE5000 (480 watts) and we are now giving 1 1/2 gallons of water each and everyday with no runoff. I’m gonna try to make it thru the week before bumping her up again. She is loving the light and I’m hoping she doesn’t stretch too much more as I would like to just let her grow without anymore tucking and weaving. I would like to pull a lb or more on this run but have never grew this cultivar or even a plant of this size fully scrogged out before so we will see. On day 21 I’ll do a heavy defoliation and then we are gonna watch this plant put on some weight!!

~Day 18 Flower~

Almost time for the day 21 leaf strip. I started tapering down my Cal/Mag and boosting up my Epsom salts to 2 grams per gal. Recharge every other watering and kelp extract every watering. Around week 4 I’ll start using my chitosan product to initiate the SAR response to help drive terpene and trichome production. I’ll also be top dressing 10 tablespoons of Terp Tea bloom booster for the higher amounts of potassium to push thru the second half of flower. She’s massive and has been drinking a lot so I also top dressed some of buildasoils craft blend to make sure she stays fed until the mid flower top dress.

I also got some new auto flower genetics to try. I was really happy with Fastbuds and everyone says Mephisto and night owl got the heat so I snagged a pack of the outlier C. Super dope packaging
