In the end, it's not much different from a human who has a pimple, a birthmark, a mole or whatever else.
...

but yeah if outdoor also possibly something like crickets munching your leaf.

Chop them and start over! Irreparable damage šŸ’” 😪

Just kidding! Monitor them some more and if problem continues, start searching the 'net for a fix. For now it's probably a blemish. No plant grows perfectly šŸ‘Œ
Honestly I had the same idea and was going to put that plan into action until the seed that I germinated the tap root stopped growing . I did the soak method until it popped and put it in soil but it's still not doing anything. I dug it up and the tap root is the same exact length as before

I'd give it a little extra nitrogen to see if you can Kickstart it. I'm old-school broscience so I know a light dose of MiracleGro brings stalled plants right out of it. If this doesn't help the plant, sprout another bean. Stop pulling up the sprout to inspect the tap root, you're exacerbating the situation.

You don't soak to sprout, you soak to soften the shell. (14 hours), then plant seed in a seed starting pellet (point up) pencil tip deep, lightly covered. Place in a tray/dome under low intensity light and they should be above ground in about two days. Point up lessens chances of buckethead sprouts. You can skip paper towel method and once you establish roots in the starting pellet you can transplant into a larger container or directly into a final container if it's five gallon or less. If you go right into your final it takes a little bit before you start to see growth. (Acclimation to soil)

I pulled it up cause no growth after a few days They usually pop above soil in 2 days after the paper towel method. This is the first time I tried to soak only method. I'm pretty sure I dround it. When I gave up today and threw it away I dug it up and it looked like it was still growing inside of the seed. It was green lol

Transplanted out of the plastic pot and used a fabric pot. I changed the soil and used some mix that feeds 6 months but said something that it's for seeds. I mixed 50% soil and 50% hydrafiber. They seem to like it so far. I also switched the light schedule to 12/12. I want to see how much it grows after the switch and maybe just use this as a mother plant. You can already smell the kush scent when you put your nose up to it.

12/12 is for flowering and that plant is too young for flowering. Clones are usually taken from a plant while it's still vegging.

On top of all thats been mentioned......you won't be able to use it as a Mother plant of you flower it now!? You can go 12/12 whenever you want, but ots going to veg a while longer before the onset of flowering begins. Once in flowering mode, any clones taken will also be in flowering mode. Then the process of reveg will need to take place. Hope this helps clear the air a little for ya!! šŸ‘šŸ¼

Yes I appreciate it . I read that you can take cuttings in flower as long as it' is early and no buds have shown. What if I take a clone when in flower, Will it grow to a decent size and would I be able to get at least 2 ounces ? I am new to this and want to experiment a little. Also this is a feminized OG KUSH from RQS. I believe it is going to hermie because I have transplanted her twice , first time alot of roots were damaged, second time not so bad. But also I seem to keep over watering and getting overall shitty puffy leaves. Also had to correct high vpd Kpa at 2.83. I'm going to wait until it is dropping down the next time that I water. Another question I need an answer to is Should I water until run off since I used half hydrafiber half soil. The soil is supposed to hold 7X more water than coco. I think that I should go very light on the water but correct me if wrong . I don't have a carbon filter so the plant gets dust on her sometimes. I transplanted and watered 3 days and it's pretty moist still. I also dont think I have my lights dialed in . If it hermies I will continue the grow until the end and use the seeds. I have a whipped biscuit seed I am trying to sprout and a Hulkberry . The whipped biscuit seed looks deformed and I don't think will sprout. I soaked it for 16 hours , put in paper towel for 2 days and still nothing. I put it back in a cup to soak longer. It hasn't sunk so I think I may have one more chance . ANY ADVICE IS WELCOME.

Holy Shite.....okay okay 🤣

If you clone a flowering plant, its an identical specimen to its mother, so same age...will continue to flower if left at 12/12. Takes about 2 weeks to root. Will NOT get 2 ounces!
Would have to place inder 24hr or 20hr for a while for it to root and veg again.
I am not familiar with your soil, but its kind of the complete opposite of coco coir.
One will hold water for days and the other is to be watered each day. Not a great combo
Transplanting 2/3 times is normal for myself, and its never caused my plants to turn hermaphrodite in all the years!!

I would suggest being very gentle, and transplant into all the same product.....coir pr soil and perlite mixture. It will simplify growing for you!!
Leave your plant in veg for another week after transplant to get its roots strong into the new medium and gain some size.
At that point, take 2 clones for practice and to keep the genetics around in case the seeds don't pan out for you. šŸ‘šŸ¼

I didn't use coco . I used a mix of Miracle grow organics, a little mother earth , about half hydrafiber and this other potting soil. I'll attach pics of what I can .
