Heyya folks. Got a new grow space and my first two were underwhelming grows. Lol. Quick question, I JUST tied these down a day or two ago. Had a few questions.

1 Do these looks too short and stocky?
2 Should I remove anything touching the dirt or is this ok for the time being?
3. If they do seem too short/stocky, could it be that the light is a little too strong and they not stretching correctly or is this actually what I WANT?
4 this burnt leaf is touching the dirt. Should I remove this leaf? That just showed up this morning.
5 comments welcome if I’m missing details that y’all pick up on! Lol

Thanks in advance!

Don't let your leaves touch the soil, just trim off the bad spot and keep the leaf. Indica's are short, fat with wide leaves, Blue light will keep it short where as red light will stretch it. Your light maybe putting out a lot of blue. Cool temps keep them shorter as well 78f ideal 65% humidity good at that stage. Still off to a good start just clean up the leaves and let her grow, Big leaves/ all leaves are solar panels don't chop in veg unless they are dying.

I'm thinking your light is a little close. Take a good look at the leaves. How the surface is wrinkled. Slight light stress.
You should back the light off. Let the plant grow up to it.
She will spread out in good time.

Remove only the leaf deep down under the canopy. Try and leave any shoots off the main stalk. They will grow colas for you.
She is ready!
