Auto flower outdoor ambient light question

I just completed my first successful grow of photoperiod banana kush indoors and looking to try an outdoor grow with autoflower seeds. I have ambient light in my backyard (street lights and neighbors) so from everything I've read, I'm pretty confident photoperiod is a bad idea for me to try outside. Will autoflowers do OK with ambient light leaks outside? I'm getting conflicting information online so I'm looking for some experienced growers input. Thanks!

An Autoflower will do fine outside for you. Go out at night and look for the darkest places in your yard. Then the best sun locations in the daytime. When you find a dark spot at night with good sun in the daytime. This is the magic spot for your plant. You could even grow a photo there. This will help.

What Auto where you thinking?
What where you thinking about feeding and what soil.
In pots or in the ground.?

I'm thinking a full on sativa or heavy sativa hybrid . I KNOW I like indica or indica heavy hybrids, but from what I've read, sativas do better in a hot climate (I'm in Arizona). Plus, I'd like to try out different stuff anyway. I have some 5 gallon fabric pots I never used from my last grow so I may start with that. I have some fox farm trio left over as well. I didn't even consider outside on my first grow because of the light issue outside. It's not heavy light pollution but the neighbors leave patio lights on all night and I for sure get a little street light bleed all night long. Right now I'm looking at 105 degrees in the day and maybe down to 80 at night so I may wait for another couple months. Any suggestion on what strain to try? My current batch is VERY chill and it would be nice to have something a bit on the upper side. Side note - I'm an old dude who quit smoking back in the early 90's because half the shit I smoked was AWESOME and half made me paranoid lol - buying it on the street I never knew what I was getting. Since the advent of the internet and legal weed, I've found that indicas are my thing :-). That being said, I want to try sativa again, just in much smaller doses.

I just finished a Northern Lights auto outdoors. Wow it's really nice.

I have the same light problems where I am without any problems photo or auto.
Been busy trimming this one in the other room and took a break to say hi to you.

If you want to try a feel good laugh your ass off weed look at Laughing Buddha Autoflower.

Something to think about.

You’re not going to have enough hours of daylight to keep a photo from flowering! You will have to add light! If you are talking about growing in the winter!

I've never experienced issues outside with light pollution when growing Autoflowers. I'm a backyard grower. I hide them but they are exposed to light pollution. It happens. Not often or for any extended time. I pull off some good Indica's. They can tolerate some light stress. It's good for them to some degree. Little stress brings out the terps. My shit is dank too. I burn Citronella if people are around to mask the dankiness on humid or hot days. God, I love that smell. My inside grow is on a timer. The Autoflowers do fine with that too.
