Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me im growing photoperiodic cbd strains usually but added a few automatics I had left. They are 3-4 weeks old but are super small. I already see white pistols coming out. My question is should I just rip them out and start from the beginning?
They are standing in organic coco/soil with some mykos in there. So I don't know what I could've done wrong there. First 2 weeks under 80 watt led about 50-60cm away. Then moved the light a little closer so its about 150 watt at 40 cm.
Thanks for reading!

Yes rip them out. your soil is no good for auto flowers.
Try this it's super simple.

Mykos is a type of living soil fungus. It is not a source of nutrients and coco has no nutrients and auto flowers are very hungry right out of the gate. In fact coco absorbs large amounts of calcium. You can grow in it but it requires special tools. You need to check out the videos I posted and they will help you.

Thanks for your reply! Okay I will rip them out. The reason I mix coco in my soil is because it had too many nutrients and is a very high quality soil(very dense). I sadly don't have access to the soil in the video you linked for me. Any other advice what I can do?

Sand would be better than coco for what your doing as coco absorbs calcium if it is not buffered.
So no matter what you do with that mix it's going to cause calcium problems in your grow.

Any chance you have a vegetable garden?
Compost pile?

Hello Auto, Only you can answer that. I might be able to help with why they’re dropping. Too much heat from light source too close, heat torture, too much adult nutrients for size, over watering may be drowning roots. Your coco soil sounds good. Another possibility is trying to grow seeds which may be too old. But I have grown seeds that I purchased back in 2020. Keep those precious seeds sealed in to small glass vials, and stored in cool dry darkness. - halboy

Sorry for late answer.
Im using only 218 watts led and they are around 40cm away.

my temperature is a constent 26-28 celsius at that anf around 24 st night. I never really watered them super much. I put them in when the soil was nice moist. After that i gave them a sip of water every week which wad hard since my pots are big but i heard i shouldnt give too much water.

The seeds got purchased about 1 year ago.

Im normally not an auto guy but the strains were only available as autos.

Ofc they need time but when you compare my autoflowers to autoflowers on the whole internet at 3-4 weeks mine are definitely midgets lol

Somethings wrong for them to be so small after 3 weeks.

If your not overwatering and you have 200w on them.

I have used a medium once we’re they just won’t grow fast at all I tried adding pertlie same thing they just wouldn’t move
Who knows what was in that “ organic “ soil but it was totally useless for cannabis. After a few weeks trying to figure I brought a bag of either house and garden or bio bizz allmix both cheep organic compost transplanted then gently pulling away as much of the old stuff as possible in a last ditch attempt they picked right up.

There pre flowering you won’t have long left to sort it out if they are true autos by there size even then your going to get very little back sad to be honest as it’s not a happy moment typing it ; we all want others to succeed otherwise why would we try help.

40cm maybe a tad close rough guide is 18” - 36” not loads of difference

Your 218w i guess is a mix of led lights. I do wonder about that still again I my brain keeps coming back to the medium

Thanks man! I prolly will just do that. Rip em out ina few days and mix the soil New with more coco fiber! Btw biobiss soil is just mostly pimped up peat, so try to stay away from that

Well I can’t get house and garden room the local hydro no more witch was my preference and all they sell apart from fancy mediums with added this that and the other is bio bizz so I tried it and personally never had a problem

I ain’t paying internet prices for a fancy medium or even house and garden and at £13 a bag when I use so much it’s a no brainier my yeilds are fine so I guess it a personal preference
