Wow yeah that's really messed up. I wonder if it has something to do with the laws in said country they sell to. They probably have an entirely different standard for every country, and save .00002 cents here and there by taking advantage of every loophole in every law in every country... Yeah, actually I can see Amazon doing some shady shit like that..

Maybe switch to AliExpress next time maybe they take care of their Euro customers a little better? Idk. That's fucked, though. Almost makes me want to write Amazon a strongly worded business letter.

I wish someone would make a 8 inch x 24 inch refillable carbon filter with a 2 inch thick carbon bed

so i dont have to keep on buying new filters all the time

i know ac infinity make a refillable one but its too small and too thin carbon bed, hopefully they will release more models in the future

Most carbon can air filters are actually refillable, they just don't advertise it because then you wouldn't keep buying new ones. Just start unscrewing the screws or busting the rivets( they use these to stop you from refilling) at the top flange until it's free. Then pour out the old and refill with new. Alternatively, get yourself a brush torch ( a propane torch ) and burn the hell out of the carbon through the metal mesh. This "recharges" the carbon. Just make sure you remove the pre filter and any rubber gaskets that may be in carbon can before torching

I've had a very terrible time dealing with Grow Strong Industries aka Gorilla Grow Tents & Carbon Filters

And i want to share my experience here so others don't have to go through the same shit as me.

I first made contact with Rory (Owner of Gorilla) and reached out to ask a few questions about the carbon filter

Rory was quick to answer all questions.

So i went ahead and purchased the filter (shipment is going outside of usa)

Ships from Amazon
Sold by Grow Strong Industries

10 days later the filter arrived in its own amazon box.

The amazon shipping box had zero damage.

The product box for the carbon filter also had zero damage.

But upon opening the gorilla box i was shocked, it looks like a truck had run over the filter totally smashed up....

But how? if both shipping boxes were 100% fine.

I guess someone is shipping out damaged filters in brand new boxes.

I was pissed, i needed my filter ASAP

So i reached back out to Rory to show him the photos of the damage and ask for a refund.

And for the past 6 days he has ignored me fully leaving me with no choice but to post here and warn others not to support there shady company.

If it pissed you off enough to go through this, that should say you won't make the mistake of buying from then again so however much you spent should be all you ever spent on that company. Same reason I'll never buy anything again from Mars Hydro (not to get into that story). Also, if you are well enough with money, then try not to get mad over the lost money. It's just money. Like I said, try look at it as a lesson well learned. I hate when businesses are smart enough to "tactfully" screw over it's customers in such a way that they keep coming back. People lose more money over time like that possibly.

Karma will come back to them, if they keep it up and they'll lose whatever customers they have one at a time.

(super sweet score for 80) And I picked up a kindled, grow strong light, from Amazon. I asked a question and got a response and my follow up question was never answered or a third.

This is not an isolated incident of customer service being subpar from grow strong.

NGL though I like that 2x2.5 tent
