I start my seeds in solo cups, the picture below is around the size when I transplant them.
If you experience issues early, transplanting to a mid pot will do a lot for a plant.

Your medium looks kind of dense, might just be how it looks. Some perlite in your medium will help with drainage and air flow to the roots.

🤣 with the cost of tools I wish I could grow them!
That is probably fine, you might want to top dress before you flip to flower, but it depends on the compost, I'm not familiar with that one. But a good one to use is gaia green, I use a fraction of what they recommend and I think my plants are fine.

Well what is it in now .i never repot mine till they are about 6 8 inches.i keep pushing the soil up .but when mine are leaning to much ,its time for a bigger pot and a deeper planting ,so they dont fall over.
Hope that helps so each one is a little different.longer you can not disturb the better

First of all, thank you for not growing an auto, not sure why so many new growers choose autos, as if it’s complicated having to flip when you’re ready.
Second, your sprout looks healthy…seen quite a few new growers struggle right out of the gate…don’t over water and don’t overthink it.
Third, looks like that’s at least a 1 gal pot so realistically she could spend the rest of her days in there depending how big you want it and or how much space you have…if you do up pot, I’d say give it a couple weeks to a month…my opinion.

Please do yourself and plants a favor by using perilite in your soil mix. The soil you have is going to compact and roots are most likely choke out cause root rot down the line as they grow. And drill holes in plastic pots lots of them so water escapes.
