Not familiar with the acid ingredient listed, says its a rooting hormone. Has anyone every used this type of acid for bean popping in place of GA3?

If you are referring to the indole-3-butyric Acid, I have never used it for germination, but it is a plant growth regulator which can promote germination and rooting. If you end up using it, I would be intrigued to know your results. Positive vibes...

Used it for cloning. Seeds are easy to germinate if damp and warm. mine go straight into a solo cup, half full of happy frog, sealed inside a coffee can in front of a steam radiator. 24-48 hours, never fails with fresh seeds.

Hey madbud, do you fill the cup halfway so that you can fill it to the top if the seedling stretches ?
