Hey guys. Im looking into coco for for my next plant. I got some questions about feeding.

1. Do you guys use nutrients every feeding? What about in the seedling stage? I wanna i need to dilute it 25%-50% in the beginning.

Is feeding nutes every other day possible? Like nutes, water, nutes, water etc.

2. Calmag, i need this to buffer the coco. Is calmag needed in any others stages or watering after that?

3. Is it better to use a 4 gallon fabric pot or a 7 gallon fabric pot

Im planning to use it on a autoflower with Terraquatic Tri part flora series.

Much thanks!

Yes, every fertigation event should be with nutrients. As a seedling i feed very weak starting at 200EC working my way up to 400EC by about 1 week. About a week after that ive worked up towards 1000EC.

Very wise to buffer your coco prior to use though you'll still be using calmg throughout the grow. Especially if using RO water, if using other sources it will depend on whats making up its ppms but id think calmg wouod still be used.

I've grown in 1gal and 3gal so far, currently growing with 2 gal. Smallwr pots allow more fertigation events which mat give faster growth. My last grow, Royal queens Runtz, 1gal fabric pots 6x events a day got me 20oz in a 2.5x5' canopy. That same tent i had a Barneys Blueberry OG in a 3gal fsbric that i hand watered twice a day. It produced 12.5oz. While more, it is comparing different strains. All three plants grew under same conditions, same veg time, same nutrient mix.

All of this is to say I'd take the 4gal over the 7, though id take a 1gal over the 4.
