DAY - 33

I have been topping and LST’ing the crap out of these plants. The two Windu OG plants in the back are kicking ass. The bag seed (Sativa?) is doing decently; I’m forcing her to grow like a bush 😁.

I topped about 15 bud sites on each Windu plant and half that on the bagseed. I think once they heal up and produce new sets of leaves I’m going to flip them.

Decided to abandon the SCROG this grow round and use later.

Hey, after topping I like to go about 10 days before a flip. I want the 2 shoots on top to grow a bit otherwise I get short twin stubby buds where I topped.....you stuff looks great though...

I was thinking about 7-10 days, I’ll go with your advice and give them at least 10 days.

The SE3000 is hanging 18” from canopy, running at 60%. Temp is ranging from 73.5-81.0 deg. F; averaging 77.7 deg. F. RH avg. 45%.

DAY - 34

The space my 3x3 utilizes is exactly 38x38 inches, so I am unable to access the sides, back, and limited access to the top. I only had one duct port at the top and my 6 inch inline is using it…

I ended up finding a really neat product by Secret Jardin that allows you to add a duct flange to your tent. I did a little modification to my product, removing the clips so it would fit in the front at the bottom corner. Really impressed with the final result.

Defoliated all three plants. Haven’t done much else with them. Running them 24 hrs., at 79.5F, SE3000 dimmed to 80%, RH avg. 50%. Feeding same nutrients every 2-3 days.

The new bud sites were becoming light stressed, I had to dim the SE3000 to 40% and 20 inch height from canopy.

Will flip in a few days once the plant had healed more.

I’m crazy about doing things the right way and I don’t mind to pay to play. I bought an Apogee MQ-610 Par Meter to measure my LED light output. That should fix all my light problems… Right? 😁

DAY - 44 First Week of Flower

I flipped the plants into flower two days ago, seem to be doing great. Running lights at 12 inches, 50% gives me 400-500 ppfd coverage. My goal is to slowly ramp up lighting and max out at 80% hung at 12 inches over canopy. Testing with my par meter shows 800-900 ppfd 80% at 12 inches. Trying to avoid running these lights at 100%.

I put an 11 watt 6500k led floodlight approx. 10 inches over my clones. MQ-610 Par Meter reads 125-200 ppfd over the clones. Not bad for a cheap led light. They love it 😊.

DAY - 47 First week of flower

Got a new *budget* friendly light that I would highly recommend. You can get a Maxisun MF1000 for $50 on Amazon right now. 100 watt fixture that uses 350 Samsung LM281b+ diodes, Meanwell XLG driver, and it’s dimmable from 10%-100%. Efficiency of 2.0 µmol/J. That’s a lot of good quality for not much money.

I’m running the fixture 12 inches at 20% over clones. Getting 100-200 ppfd with my par meter. Light is running at 78 deg. F at this setting. This will strictly be a cloning light fixture.

Going to likely get a ChilLED X1-160W Single Bar Grow Light specifically in a vegetative spectrum to veg. my plants. I plan to run it 12 inches at the lowest setting to get even 300-400 ppfd coverage. Primarily running low setting on all my lights to reduce heat issues.

Im really loving being able to dial in my light with this Apogee par meter. I dropped my light to the minimum height of 8 inches and dimmed to 65%. 8 inches @ 65% is giving me 900 ppfd in the center and 800-700 ppfd over the majority of the canopy.

My goal is to run this light as efficiently as possibly to reduce heat, I will stick with those settings. My average lights-on temp now is 78 deg. F.

Really impressed with and loving the SF SE3000. At 10 inches at 100% I was easily getting 1300 ppfd at the center; I didn’t check 8 inches which would have been 1350+ ppfd likely. That’s insane for this light fixture and price point.

There’s lots of videos and par maps with the lights hung at different heights, but there is little to no par data on dimming the lights at different heights. If you ever need some par data for your SE3000 just let me know.

DAY - 51 Second week of flower

I finally got my space organized/clean enough to show 😁. My space is actually a closet space, within another closet, within a bathroom.

When I built my house, I was given the option to wall off the dead spaces, or create more closets for storage, etc. I told them to finish out the dead spaces and run electrical for lighting. Nothing crazy, but check it:

I upgraded my vegging light to a ChilLed 165 watt full spectrum 40 inch single-bar dimmable led light. This thing is freaking sweet. I’m running her at 50% at 12 inches over the tallest plants.

DAY - 61 Week 3 of flower

After week 3 of flower is completed I’m going to defoliate one last time.

Does bud production look good for week 3?
