Yeah! Very bad thing to have in your neighborhood! Probably almost impossible to eradicate Without a united neighborhood effort! And what are the chances of that happening! So now you’re just roll the dice!

agree, up until lemmy died I always though that all would be left after the bomb, phyto plasmas, invasive insect colonies that drive rampant infections and lemmy.

Its been observed by those on forums, as long ago as 5-7 years ago. From Hawaii-South Africa, that I have personally read.

FWIW…I’ve had an infected plant grow one year (chopped very early after spotting problem) and the next year have no issues in same plot and occasionally for a couple years then another problem plant pops up and chop-a-roomy! This year I played it safe by having three in-ground plants in my normal grow area (about 3-4 hours direct sun) and moved one plant in 15-gallon pot about 150 ft away in more sunny area (about 6 hrs direct sun now). The shady plants started heavy flower two weeks before sunny girl but sunny girl is packing on the weight now.

My big debate for sunny girl (a Bruce Banner) is whether to attempt a rain cover for potential 0.1” to 0.5” rain over the next two days or shake dry or leaf blower gentle dry after rains.

Id cover it if possible. Why not?? Better to get no rain on them, vs any amount. Thats a nice plant. Id do everything possible, to get it through.

If it is some disease transferred by pests, than why are my tomato plants Ok? Also, why is the plant I transplanted into the ground fine?

Every plant has different resistances to pests and molds. Sometimes it’s micro climates. You just never really know what you’re gonna get when you pop that seed.

I have cut off a lot of branches. I might be able to get something out of the plants still, but time will tell? Not as sticky or smelly as my other plant.

That’s common for plants with this condition. Les vitality and fewer trichomes. Take whatever you can get at this point.

I have trimmed off some buds from the Blighty Plants. Is it worth it to dry them out and cure them? The pistils look frail and un-healthy to me.

A lot of us growing outside in Southern California have seen our plants taking on some purple or black on our fan leaves the past couple weeks with overnight temps dropping into the high 40's.

A bigger worry is that you'll be able to get your harvest out of the ground before the Santa Ana Winds get here. It's no fun going outside and finding all your best bud branches have snapped off.

It’s your call! It sounds like Astor, yellow disease! And it sounds like that is systemic! So there’s no washing it out! Probably just depends on what they look like!

Its been observed in weed from, Hawaii, to South Africa!!! Not counting first found in Iran, in 1967!!!
It was not widespread, in the 60s, and was predicted, to spread. And it has. Bigly.
We have had it every year, for the last 14 years.
Also we are Guerilla Grow, in the middle of the woods, though my buddy has a few, around his house, he lives in, the middle of the woods, of east Ky. Others we know, also have had this problem.
Leafhoppers, are/were everywhere.
