Bleach and Hydrogaurd

If using bleach to keep my hydro reservoir clean should I be using hydrogaurd or is the bleach canceling it out? Thank you

One or the other the bleach will kill the bacteria that hydrogaurd is composed of.

I don't. I run a live system like your typical RDWC with some important changes.

Sterile is a good place to start I think and it's a good place to finish for some.

It's just not for me and I feel a live system is more beneficial. Although can be more challenging.
