Broke seedling leaves off of outdoor plant

My outdoor plant happened to come unrooted during watering and after putting it back in the dirt with the roots it had I broke the leaf off so now out of the 3-4 leaves that were on it before now are gone, do you think it will still survive with one leaf if I carefully water ??

It could regenerate. But a fresh seed would be better. Water the media before you plant the seed. If you want to water carefully poke pinhole in the cap of a water bottle to carefully keep the soil from drying out on top too fast.
