Bud Rot or Heat damage?

I finally harvested my girls, Trainwreck, White Widow and Northern Lights. My main cola on the Northern lights had what I figured was either bud rot or heat damage. Anyway I cut the piece off that was all dark orange/brown and below it the cola looked fine, green, with orange pistils but nothing like this. Also I have 2 outside which will harvest tomorrow as one definitely has some colas with rot and with colder temps and rain here in the Pacific NW, I am willing to harvest a little early. Most trichomes are cloudy and lots of crystals on the leaves, very sticky.
Oh on the 3 mentioned above had a 400w HPS supplemented by a 300w LED King Led light. Growing in super soil so no nutes. Thanks for any info or comments.

Bud rot. Discard. Stuffs pretty bad for you.

Unless you are allergic, it probably won't hurt you. Still gross though- I'd throw it away.

I cut those colas about an inch below where the rot showed and saw no sign of it, since the colas were so huge. They are drying now and the ones outside I checked, just one has a couple colas but looks different than this. Will harvest tomorrow and double check as I trim them.
