I believe you can buy them, and different crosses, directly from CSI Humbolt. I would imagine lots of places sell their seeds, but from what I read on Reddit the best place to get them is directly from their official store.
yeah i saw your post that mentioned it lol. sorry i had a blonde moment. ok thanks

I really like my three gallon pots! They seem to be a good mix of a few wet days and a day or two of dry then really dry (given the variables of climate and strain and all that).
I like mine as well. I had 5 gallons before and was going to go 7 this time but changed and went with the 3.

LOL Its all good no apologies necessary! No worries, I think a LOT of people on this forum and on other forums speak very highly of CSI Humbolt. Thanks for checking out my thread by the way, appreciate you man!

Me too, I am really surprised by how well they worked, I was blown away. I remembered in coco that small pots = you have to water them multiple times per day but I was happy to find that's just not the case with soil. Growing in 3gal pots was a dream, and I am still really happy with the bud size because I had 6 in there so it evens itself out. From now on I am going to do ALL my pheno hunts in 3gal pots.

The girls come down tomorrow by the way, so stay tuned!

so you're planning on using bigger pots if you find a pheno you like?

Started at 7 (was going to use 20gal) got talked out of that real quick!😂 then found the sevens, they are pretty heavy when full of water. went to 3’s and cant really see myself going back to anything larger than that : ) for now that smaller size is working for me.

Im sure you know this but I thought I would mention it since you brought up the frequency of having to water coco. Im getting about 4 days of good wet/moist pots and that was with some perlite mixed in. Im going to try out the pro mix HP in the 3gals with some soil mixed in and perlite and see if I can get the amount of days between waterings a little lower (but nothing like multiple times a day!) id quit if I had to water that much!

I use pro mix and perlite and average 4-5 days using 3 gallon.

Yep, bigger pots but less plants, so 4 in 30L pots instead of 6 in 15L pots. But if I ever run 6 plants in a bud-run I will have to use 15L which is 3gal because 30L just don't fit snugly. My re-run which will be the 4 plants in veg are the 4 phenos I really liked but I want to see what they can do in bigger pots before I decide on which pheno to pick.

I am getting 4 days in 3gallons too! Captain also prefers smaller pots too with soil that he has to water more often, was talking to him the other day and you can see his results, they speak for themselves he grows some serious bud. I am so lazy though, I love only having to look after them every 3-4 days 🤣 . But yeah man, after I lost all of my plants and phenos I hunted about 5 years ago I just couldn't be bothered to get back into all the effort of growing again, really killed it for me, and its because of how much effort it was to keep 3 tents going with coco. Since coming back I am loving soil 🤣 I am so fucking lazy that it just works for me perfectly.

A wonderful day, and my whole lung room smells like a berry farm.

I want to thank all of you for stopping by so often, and I am glad to have finished this grow without issue.

All 6 have come down. I removed only the large fan leaves, I turned off my fans, and I turned down my inlet and exhaust to the lowest setting. I am still running my AC to keep temps low, but my dehumidifier is now set to 60% instead of 50%. I also turned the light off but that picture sucked so I had to turn them back on to take this picture.

Thanks man, really happy to be at the end of this one 😍 . As far as strains go I am not very good with the sativa/indica thing 🤣 I barely even check I usually just go for strains that I am curious about or what catches my eye. Like when I chose the GG4 and GSC crosses I could have gotten the original strain of both but I have already grown them both many times, so I decided to go with 2 of their crosses instead to keep it fun. On their website it looks like they have a whole section dedicated to different crosses, so if you check out their strain information you might find the info your looking for. You could check out each strain, look for a Sativa, then look at their crosses.

No worries man. So many people get scammed with seeds etc that its always best to try and go directly to the source if they have a website 😁 and many of them do. If they don't they often do all their business on social media. Kind of funny but that's how a lot of breeders get more business nowadays. People see their plants on Instagram and ask to buy seeds.
I see Trainwreck is a sativa dominant. i think i will get me some of that.
Hoo boy. I have heard nothing but good things about Trainwreck! IIRC I think Mendo Dope grew a few Trainwreck plants once and they even surprised those boys who have seen it all. I just did a quick search on Reddit for you and there are a lot of threads of people growing that CSI Trainwreck S1 so you should hunt a few down and see what you think. They look beautiful from what I can see! Here is one thread I found man, and you can search that Subreddit for "Trainwreck" and youll see all the results-

Up to you who you go with, but before you choose always do your research. A lot of different breeders have their own version of strains, so sometimes a simple "which trainwreck strain is best?" put into google is all the research you need 🤣 sometimes you get lucky.

I did a bit of research for you out of curiosity and it looks like the history of Trainwreck is rather ambiguous, though they claim it was created in the 70s by 2 brothers breeding landrace strains together in Northern Cali, no names or official source. Doesn't look like it comes from any specific breeder/website, its just a strain that popped up 🤷‍♂️ I cant find any "official" breeder anywhere, so that means you'll have to research which Trainwreck from which breeder is superior.
