Week 2 of Veg, day 14.

I may have forgotten about the clones a little bit, and they may have started to droop a little bit, but I didn't expect them to drink so fast! I got to them just in time, I frantically mixed up some rhizo and kelp and watered them. They were very dry, and I think I will need to transplant them next water.

Week 2 of Veg, day 14.

I like watching your grow it's just a few days difference in the age of my photos. Nearly same bud looks too, i got my 3 in 3gal fabric and still watering just every 4-5 days.

Haha yeah it does look like our swell is beginning, they are around the same age! My girls are in 3gals too, and I am exactly the same, watering ever 4-5 days. Now that I am controlling my humidity a bit better I am thinking about swapping back to fabric pots. I am going to have to think about this. I was in fabric before, but I was in coco see? In coco my plants would dry out way too much, but I can see now that wouldn't happen with soil.

You and a number of people here have given me a lot to think about, and the further I go on the more I am convinced to pick up some more fabric pots and give them another go now that I am in soil.

Little update, nothing major. I just topped all of my clones, and they have also recovered from the "thorough dryback" haha that's what I will call it! I didn't forget to water them, it was just a thorough dryback!

Week 4 of Flower, day 25.

The girls are really drinking now, only taking 4 days to dry back. I added microbe, fungi, rhizo and kelp to the water.

At the end of the week I am going to remove them all from the tent to give them a really good smell and look over to start deciding on which phenotypes I like.

Week 3 of Veg, day 17.

I am going to transplant them in a few days, I got sidetracked and couldn't do it today. Just gave them a water with some rhizo and kelp, nothing special, just on cruise control.

Week 4, day 28. Last day of week 4!

Girls were thirsty so they got 3 litres each, with just rhizo. I got amongst it and double checked every pheno for any hermies or issues, and nothing so far. I tried to pinpoint which I liked, but it is just too early to make any decisions, but I think I need to spend more time in there, I have just been so busy. Temperature has been between 20-22, and humidity between 45-55%, and its costing me a lot of electricity no doubt.

Just like last time I ran HeavyDayze seeds some of the pistils are turning bright and pretty colours, very subtle but its there, I assume from the RMQ genetics.

Week 5, day 29.

When I defoliated at the start of week 3 I knew I should have taken more, because today I noticed moisture building up between fan leaves again. So, unfortunately, I had to do another defoliation.

I also turned my LED up to 70%.

Week 3 of Veg, Day 20

I transplanted the Kir Royale clones 4 days ago into 4.5L pots, and I gave them a late defoliation. Most of them branched out quickly after being topped, but some are a little behind because fan leaves were blocking their lower branches, so now some are stretchy whilst others are branchy. The good news is I have another 4-6 weeks for them all to catch up.

I gave them each 1 litre, with rhizo, microbe, fungi and kelp. I also top dressed and gave them mineral composite.

Week 5 of Flower, day 31.

Girls were thirsty, so I gave them a drink and added rhizo, microbe and kelp. I also top dressed with flower blend and mineral composite.

I used this opportunity to pull the plants out 1 by 1, give them all a sniff and a stem rub, and these are my results of each pheno. I have each pheno numbered, and these results wont mean much to you just for my notes. Of course I also swept and cleaned up the floor of the tent.
GOOD: 2, 8, 7
GOOD/OKAY: 5
OKAY: 3, 6
Out of 6 phenos x 3 have clear blackcurrant terps, with pheno number 2 being the winner so far. The other smell great, but they aren't what I was hunting for, but still AMAZING!

Bud shots. I think my 3 fans are causing some of the pistils on the main colas to orange prematurely, but there is nothing I can do about it I cant turn off my fans, I haven't been saying much about it but right now my situation is dire, and is costing me a LOT of electricity. I have my AC on Dry mode and my dehumidifier on 24 fucking 7 for the past 7 days, it is BAD right now. The good news is the new dehumidifier I mentioned buying, which cost me 3 times as much as my others btw, actually works amazingly well. I have been keeping temps between 20-23, and my humidity between 45-55%.

Buddy I am exhausted! I was in there for an hour and a half today. I am glad I was able to fill the tent this time yeah, and I already have clones ready to replace them when they are done so next run will be full too! I still haven't 100% made up my mind on which pheno's to re-run, but I have a PRETTY good idea now.

I just gave them their first full Flower top dress and of course all that good stuff (microbe, fungi, rhizo, lil bit of kelp) which will aid the soil. Next time I am going to go with 20L pots I think. I am having zero issues with 14.5, but I can really tell the difference in bud size.

Did your previos haze grow cure already? How is it? They were looking mighty fine hahaha.
Is it a kelp based NPK fertilizer or are you using as supplement? If so whats the fertilizer? Gaia green? I cant remember what you used to use.

Well its good to have you back man, thanks for checking out my posts haha I was wondering where you had got to. Yep, I finished them and I got 16.5 ounces in total it actually was a pretty good haul for my first soil run! That yellow plant? She was a hungry girl. She gave me 175 grams, she was the largest and heaviest she was huge, and I guess she needed way more food than the others so I guess that solves that mystery.

Is it a kelp based NPK fertilizer or are you using as supplement? If so whats the fertilizer? Gaia green? I cant remember what you used to use.

One kelp product I use, Green Supreme, is more of a general plant tonic, though technically a fertilizer its just used as a supplement, and in very small doses. However, one of the products is not like that, Ocean Potion is a kelp based NPK fertilizer so it actually has mobile nutes, but they only get that once in veg, and 3-4 times in flower, and those are MUCH larger doses. The products are an Australian brand called High Powered Organics. Sorry I don't mention the products much haha because they are an unknown Australian brand so I don't expect anybody to know what the names mean so I just say whats in them lol.

Wow thats a pretty good harvest! So thats what happened with the yellow one, I remember her yes, we thought she was retarded if Im not mistaken, poor thingy she was so smart she looked retarded like those sprectrum kids have family there mean no harm

LOL Yep, when I got her buds onto the scale it was pretty obvious she was asking for more food I think she was probably ready to eat a whole extra tablespoon of top dress, but oh well, I will remember this for next time!

Thanks man yeah it took me a while to settle on a line of products, there isn't a lot on offer here as far as full nute-systems go for soil, it is much more coco/hydro in Aus that gets marketed to, not a lot of home-grown soil options here yet. Growing in Aus isn't that big yet, it almost was recently when they pushed for a recreational bill to pass to allow people to grow their own weed but the bill failed miserably, and so far only 1 state allows you to grow legally fucking backwards man.

I am almost ready to give them a water, but several phenos are a little behind, so I will water them in the next 12 hours, only adding rhizo to the water this time. I was hoping to water right now, but I noticed some of the pots still have a little weight and I learnt my lesson with that last time.
