Week 5 of Flower, day 34.

Girls were thirsty, gave them 3 litres with rhizo and a small dose of kelp in the water. It will be week 6 in 2 days, so we are about 2-3 weeks from harvest. This strain is meant to finish earlier than my last, but I will go off the trichs.

The 3 phenos I love, with a bonus at the end.

She has the most beautiful buds and the most beautiful colours of them all, smells sweet'n'fruity, and she is way more frosty than any of them. She might not smell like blackcurrant but she does smell GOOD! She might be too beautiful to throw her clone away, any opinions? Shes got a purple tint to her too.

Week 4 of Veg, day 25.

I really need these clones to bush out more, so I topped their 2 main colas, making this their 2nd topping. I have identified 2 phenos that I am not going to keep, so once their soil dries out I am going to rip the clones and recycle their soil. Which is good news btw, I mean look at this, do I not need the room?

Hahaha thank you my friend, that's very kind of you to say! I put a lot of effort in sometimes I take a little less than I should out of an abundance of caution, but this round? I am fighting 70-90% humidity 24/7 so I couldn't afford any funny business with leaves. Climate is totally controlled, but I think as a result when my electricity bill comes in I am going to be wondering "Is this somebodies phone number or a barcode? That cannot be my bill!".

Thank you man I really appreciate it, I think I am going to grow just 4 plants next time, pheno 2, 7, 8 and of course pheno 5 even though she wasn't what I was looking for she is too good to not get a better look at. I will use the same big 7.6gallon pots that I used on my return grow next time I think.

Hahahaha yeah bro controlling the environment can get pricey af!! I personally had to reduce the AC use to the final week into dry/cure only. That’s brought my power bill down to a MUCH more reasonable price tag.

I have turned my 730w LED up to 80%, and I am still maintaining 30" distance from canopy.

Took some better pictures of Pheno #5 so you guys could see what I mean. I gotta keep her.

Week 6 of Flower, day 37.

Girls were thirsty, and as per the chart I gave them rhizo and microbe/fungi/enzyme. I also have some news. We have to add "Pheno 3" to the Keeper list. Her buds matured about 3 days ago and all of a sudden she took the number 1 spot. Pheno 3, which didnt smell like blackcurrant, all of a sudden matured and now she smells more like blackcurrant than her sisters. Now that I have 4 similar keepers I think I am going to re-run 4 phenos in 29L pots.

Buds are really beginning to mature they grow up so fast! Number 5 is 100% a quick finisher, and she is the purple one.

I thought I would take a picture of the small branch I bent in half a few days ago shes still good and still growing! I also took a pic of some of the other lower branches, I am pretty happy with this run so far.

Week 4 of Veg, day 27.

Kir Royale clones have bounced back after their 2nd topping, and we are back to Jungle Tent. My plan is to let the 2 x Pheno 6 clones dry out then recycle their soil. Then I will choose the best clones of the 5 phenos to run again. Each pheno has 2 clones. Pheno 2, 3, 7 and 8 have the terps I was hunting so I will run those 4 again in 29L (7 gallon) pots. Pheno 5 is just a really really nice plant, she smells sweet and she is frosty as all hell so I am going to keep her for now but I don't need to run it again.

Some bud shots. They have been getting fatter every day. My 730w LED is still on 80% and I don't think I will increase it further. They look happy as they are so I am gonna let it ride for the rest of the grow. All fans are still on above and below the canopy, the hairs are a mess but I wont be getting mold, no sir!

It’s been a sweet spot in the final stretch.
Sometimes less is more.

I hear you 100% Captain, I can tell without a doubt that 80% even at 30" is pushing it, these LEDs are no joke! I have been able to keep temps low and humidity perfect with an A/C and fancy dehumidifier which I think has helped them deal with it, but man its expensive. Next run I will make my max 75%. Gonna run the best 4 phenos again but in 29L (7gal) pots this time.

Man 7 gallon pots are really really a good choice. I’ve had some pretty rocking results in that regard although I will say I’ve been sticking to 1 gallons these days and it’s been paying off plus, I’m ridiculous and like being a wet nurse

HAHA I am the opposite but its out of an abundance of laziness I love only having to water my plants every 3-4 days, it means all I have to do is pop my head in to my tent for a minute every day when I empty my dehumidifier . But I am happy to know though that I can do a really nice pheno hunt in smaller 3 gallon pots, I was worried at first because I remember what coco was like in small pots, watering CONSTANTLY, but totally different in soil I am glad to see! From now on whenever I am doing a hunt I am going to use 3gals like I have this time, its a great size to get a really good look at them.

Your space is BOSS Captain! I am hoping I can turn my spare room into something similar in time . Right now it feels so empty because I don't have a lot going on, its just too hot right now to have too many projects. I like to limit my projects around this time of year, wait for the heat to die down in a few months.

Week 5 of veg, day 29.

Small update. Room ran out, but defoliating these girls would be silly as they are, so I had to rearrange things. I chucked pheno 6 from the tent as I don't plan on keeping her. I also chucked the 2nd clone of a few phenos that weren't ready to be bud clipped (I still have 1 clone of each keeper!), and I bud-clipped the rest. I went from 12 plants to 8, with plenty of room. Pheno 2, 3, 7 and 8 are my hunted phenos, but pheno 5 was also saved because she is just too beautiful in flower but I didn't bud clip her because I am not running her again I am just keeping her, shes in the top right corner.
