No sorry, I mean using "Bud-clips" or "plant trainers", those little red things you see that you bend a branch into to train it sideways. I haven't defoliated them yet but I will have to soon haha.

I think its one of those annoying things man. They are an exceedingly simple design, which means they are easy to mass produce. That being true means that lots of different people and countries will have different names for their brand of clip sorry for the confusion.

Hey guys and girls, update! Kind of... Plants are still heavy, they are still drinking what is left in the soil. It has now been 5 days since watering them.

Week 8 of Flower, day 54.

Girls were finally thirsty, 2 days late. I gave them each 1 litre, and I am going to give them another litre in a few hours once everything has soaked in. I am chopping on day 56, so in 2 days.

A shot of each pheno. On the day of chop I will separate each pheno and do a photoshoot in the corner of the tent.

i looked at my package those Bud clips came in and they are called LST training clips. looking good mate.

Thank you man I appreciate it . Next grow I am going to go much easier on the fans, I believe the fans fucked my leaves up because it was only when I went ham with the fans that my fan leaves started looking like shit. I was fighting 70-90% humidity and 25C+ weather and I went a little overboard. I am also going to stick to 70% power on my LED next time, I just don't think my plants appreciate 80% so I turned it back down to 70% a few days ago.

Haha yep! Lots of different names for the same things, but the important part is you got em . I had never used these things before, I was always more of a plant-wire kind of guy, but now I only use these things because they are so much more simple.

This is what I would call a color run!!
Might see some soon as well and after that I'm running only blue/purple strains.

Haha thank you my friend, beautiful right? I am running HeavyDayze genetics, and his strains have some really beautiful expressions because of the Raspberry Mama Queen he uses in his crosses. I wish you the best of luck with some pretty colours these days its a lot easier to find those genetics. Thanks again for the kind words!

Girls are doing well. Just rhizo in the water this time after a 4 day dry back.

i was thinking the same thing with my fan usage. I was so worried there wasn't enough air movement and didn't want mold issues. i agree on the clips, they are so simple and are great for cheap. you can 3D make these things. lol

Annoying isn't it? In trying to solve 1 potential issue we created another haha. My thinking was the same dude. I went back in my journal, and turning up the fans trying to stay safe in such high humidity is when my leave started looking like dogshit, and it also made a mess of my bud hairs too, I just went way overboard. I should have just trusted my appliances I was keeping the temp perfect and humidity low constantly so there was no need for me to go overboard but I did, and now I have learnt a lesson

Yep, I bought like 200 of them so I wouldn't have to buy them again .

Gave the girls their first defoliation today. It was a pretty light strip, and as usual I could have taken more haha. I also bud-clipped 2 of the tallest main tops, top left and bottom right. Pretty boring update!

Thank you for the kind words dude, really wanted this grow to finish without issue and I am glad my only issue is that 4 of the 6 plants matured a little quicker than I expected which is the best kind of issue to have haha. Pretty excited about jumping back into 30L pots, but I am really happy to find out I can do a pheno hunt in smaller pots without issue .

I am going to re-run 4 of these phenos again, but I will be growing a CSI Humbolt seed pack next . "Girl Scout Cookies x T1000/OFP fem" is the pack I will be dropping, and it will be another pheno hunt, yay!

That sounds like a badass strain! I dont think i have tried the t1000 but for sure have everything under the sun with the GSC in it and really like that!

I believe you can buy them, and different crosses, directly from CSI Humbolt. I would imagine lots of places sell their seeds, but from what I read on Reddit the best place to get them is directly from their official store.
