There legit. I think the only downfall is that there float valve sucks. Im not sure if the new model has a better float valve. If it does then the whole system is pretty top notch. Actually one other downfall that i personaly didnt like. The buckets were to small. I like the other ebb/gro sytems with 3 gallon buckets instead of 2 gallon. Way more efficient. Hope this helps you out
