I heard you should use calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate with every watering in coco, but is this true? Do you guys just mix in ur nutes and ph-downs/ups with coco grows? I use about 30% soil, 60% coco and 10% perlite in my medium. So do I have to use these components?

I use garden gypsum and epsom salts in coco. With a soil coco mix you'd want to use straight unfertilized water every few waterings and adjust your pH up a bit.

You don't have to unless you are using a fertilizer that's designed for use with those 2. Most bottled nutes already contain those.
