So, I'm pretty new to the whole slurry business. Where I am located it can be difficult to obtain dry ice at times, and it's pretty expensive as well. So me and my partners have been making slurry's as we feel they are a bit more economical and efficient.

This is what we have been doing. We keep two different starting fluids on hand for different things. Our first is straight 91% Iso. The other being a mixture of anti-freeze and Iso. We take 2 ten pound blocks of dry ice (pellets are not available) and crush them up as much as we can. Toss the dry ice into a cooler, and pour the liquid over the top. We then take a 1" piece of pvc and stir the mix until we feel it is cold enough to use. After our first run, we then add another 10 lbs of dry ice to each slurry to bring the temps back down for a 2nd run. After the day is done, we then store everything in coolers until we need to do another run.

Will grab some pictures the next time we do a run.

Just looking for ways to be more efficient and to see how other people work with slurry's.
