Hello,

I've been trying to figure out whats going on for a while now, I started noticing the patches around 2 weeks in, I started adding canna calmag for a week which didnt help.

- 25 days old grown in canna coco pro+ and perlite
- 24 inch dist, full spec light
- Full canna coco range is being used (A+B, RHIZOTONIC, CANNAZYM) at 1/3 dose of the canna coco official feed.
- Water every 12 hours 500ml (water is 22c, 0.5EC from tap)
- Feeding water PH is 6.2
- 24c 71% RH stable environment
- Have started LST, plant was showing patches and deformed leafs before LST.
- Still growing quite well despite whatever is going on

Really appreciate any advice, I've researched the hell out of trying to find out what it could be the closest thing I found that looked simular was a virus but still not sure as these seem really rare.

Maybe check for insects. My leafs look like that when I’ve dealt with pests.
Been checking for a while now not seen any signs of any, also bough a few yellow sticky traps which have been in the soil for about 2 weeks nothing on them at all, underneath leafs looks great, any other ways I can check for pests?

The way that the leaves are twisted combined white spots leads to me to pests 🤷‍♂️

A loupe under the leafs ✌️💨

Hey so I checked the underneath of all leafs that are affected and sadly didnt see any pests or anything out of the normal, the lights are off right now so not sure if pests come out now, I've attached some images please let me know what you think

Underside of Leafs look good 🤔🤔🤔

Possible nutrient issue ?

this happen all the time when you grow seeds in large amount their's always a few phenos with some leaf discoloration and/or malformation, normal (aka gauss law) phenotypic distribution

if it start spreading noticeably on new growth across the plant in the next few days, weeks then it might be a viroid or genetic chimera.

Strange one this, thanks for helping really appreciate it.

I thought nutrient issues at the start and introduced calmag for a week but didnt see any improvement, maybe adding some canna boost might help? Not sure what they all do to be honest I was under the impression I just needed A+B, RHIZOTONIC, CANNAZYM and maybe calmag if my tap EC was under 0.4 during veg, I've got canna boost, pk13/14 as well but I read online I should introduce these later when flowering starts

I follow a feeding schedule from a dedicated line. Have you tried doing that?

It has worked well for me ✌️💨

Thanks for the info typical for my first grow I always have bad luck haha

If its a malformation/genetic issue will it cause any issues for taste/yield?

Anything I can do to help the plant? I've bought a RO/DI system as I thought maybe my tap water was causing some issues and I don't want to keep buying DI water from amazon for my humidifier :), we've had loads of reports of sewerage and other crap being put into our local water supply its god awful to drink.

either if it's a viroid or genetic issues it may or may not have an impact on buds growth, you won't know until it effectively start to flower and swell. I have seen both happen, sometime some plant with leaf issues can end producing the most appealing buds of the batch in the end and sometime not.

i'm not at all a specialist of coco, soil grower here, but i know canna is a good brand, you should be good if your using their products line and following their feeding schedule and recommandations.

Are you planning to water with 10-30% run off, and monitoring run off ph and ec once the plant start being big enough related to pot size.

it's usually advised in coco to prevent salt buit up, and pH lockout.

Tbh I wasn’t noticing much to worry about.

Twisted leaves can be a sign your ph is out ( as well as bugs but that’s ruled out there would be bugs & eggs no matter the time of day ) however not only does it not look like the plant has a ph issue your ph is level is good.

Like herb said I’ve had a few that have had slight mutations and blemishes.

It doesn't look viroid least not from what I can see

Yes, starting tomorrow I will be upping watering from 500ml twice a day to 1l twice a day, I was told this is when I should start to get run off.
