Can i use worms in my indoor soil to help with my plants?

I was wondering if placing couple of worms in my soil would help the plants ? Do you guys have any idea on that? Have any one tried it before?

Yes it helps I've even used them for fishing after harvest .

What kind of nutrients does they give, And can i use them alone? Or do i have to add alternative nutrients?
