Can someone explain this to me?

Okay so this is a mimosa bag seed. I dropped it into a 10 gal pot back in early March. I didn’t do any training until mid June when I fimmed it. I let it sit for a couple weeks to recover outside before I brought it inside to induce flowering. This looks like nothing I’ve seen or been able to find on the internet. It’s been growing single bladed leaves since it sprouted. I haven’t been able to positively sex the plant and now these flower looks more like dandelion than it does nug. What is wrong with this thing and is it, in fact, a female??

that is burnweed (Erechtites hieraciifolius). id love to hear the story of how a pot seed became a burnweed... and a nice looking one too!

It’s likely your seed never germinated and a different weed got in there. And you’ve been taking care of it this whole time and didn’t know the difference. Lol sorry bro.
