Added medium and large pieces of pine bark for the top of the walking path. The no till garden in yesr 2 is coming together
The jade nectar guy uses hardwood chips that are at least a year old! Then when the grow is through, he just turns them in to the soil! Kind of looks like his soil is made up of composting wood ships! He swears by them! Looking good Cana!😍

South facing is ideal for weed! Are your pot plants in a south facing location?
Yea i have the best full sun spots for my buds, the 2nd garden though is my grandpa's garden that I revived because he couldn't do it anymore and he hates weed like no one ive ever known. So I do this garden so he can walk out and still see a good garden and get fresh veggies. He would totally drive over my garden with his mower if I put weed in it 🤣 89 year old man cursing and driving a john deer over all my plants. Then he would probably grab a gas can and drive his mower all the way to my place just to mow down my plants in my home garden then probably light my garden on fire 🤣 did I mention he hates weed? ✌️

Good sign that the fungi is going strong. Sunny day out and mushroom is growing in the shade under the leaves. Thr network below the mulh must be going well. The cucumbers constantly want water, but they are growing like mad. They wilt one ice a day and get at least 1 to 2 gallons a piece at a time.

Garden looks so good cannafarmer. I'm battling slugs in my potatoes and broccoli. My corn is above the "knee" my cantalopes are stretching and tomatoes are getting bigger. I've got some ripe cherry ones lower on the plant. I don't know what's eating my marigolds but something is chewing leaf? I have loads of " rollie polie " bugs i think they eat my plants also.

Google, do sowbugs , a.k.a. roly-polys, eat plants! In my neck of the woods, other than the normal hopper dings, grasshoppers are about the only thing munching! At least they make a clean job of it! Nothing a healthy plant can’t deal with!😁

I get the occasional slugs or snail but they mostly go for other stuff. I firmly beleive soil and plant health directly correlate with bugs eating certain plants. But in your case they don't like sharp stuff like crushed egg shells or similar sharp object ✌️
