Carbon filter Pre filter polyester strands on buds in tent

Hey dudes I'm finding my carbon filters pre filter which is polyester is somehow falling down on my plants in the grow tent. I'm finding tiny strands of the polyester on some buds / leafs. I will be picking up a new pre filter tomorrow but should I worry about smoking the buds now? Thanks!!

I would buy some stockings and stretch one over the pre filter .

I think in this case prevention is more desirable than having to wash the plant materials creating more work ... Work smarter not harder . Od
