Don't flush I use both at same time and slowly cut out the nitrogen as you go further into flower. During the first few weeks of flower your plant does a big stretch that still requires the nitrogen.
I'm not familiar with the science yet, but if I do, I'll pass it on. Elevated phosphorus leads to premature aging. Potassium leads to respiratory failure
