Co2 and aphids

I was told that co2 will kill most mites. What about their eggs. And root Aphids will it destroy those?

You need nearly 100% CO2 to kill off most insects. Often it will knock them out but not kill them unless exposed to it for a long time. There are better ways to get rid of bugs. Pure CO2 isn't real friendly to plants, either.
