Hello from Atlanta, GA!
3rd season rookie here. Starting indoors and feel the babies are off to pretty good start. For me. haha
Weather here has been pretty bad overall with the rain and clouds so happy that I have an “indoor set up”. It’s a makeshift set up but my plan is to get them outside when it finally warms up and not so cold at night and the mornings.
My question is, is it bad for the plants that I am giving them LED lights in the morning (all day if it is bad weather and that has been more often than not) and put them in the window or outside where they get direct sun. Probably 9am to 5:00pm.
Once the shade starts coming at 5:00pm I bring them back into the house and under the lights.
They are still on an 18 hour light schedule - just a combo of sun and LED.
I feel like it’s ok since the temperature outside is still in the 60’s but wanted to check with you all and don’t want to shock them and stunt their growth.
