Hey everyone I just wanted to share this with you. This is a network started in the US and is going international. So far it's mostly just North America, but other countries are joining in all the time.
I was given a free manual rain gauge by my local Conservation office, I just had to agree to report on the website at least 5 days a week (and it's super simple only takes a couple seconds per day especially if you don't get any precipitation)
It's good information even if you don't want to participate in observation reports.

So, if you're a professional farmer and amateur meteorologist like me, this may be of some help for an idea of precipitation records/history/patterns in your area.
