Compact LED bulbs?

I see these bulbs at hardware stores. Can they be used in place of cfls? How many watts would you need? Im assuming you could put these as close as you want? Thanks in advance.

Im saying I see bulbs that actually screw in a socket. You know, like compact floros, but they are LED.
