What about if you are only running a couple of plants? I would think that if one was to run one or say two plants it would be not nearly the cost and a good entry into this system.

Cheers,

Surely not! A 1 ton ac 2-3 1k hps, a water chiller.. As long as you are incorperating all of the MPB features this can be done with just a few plants. Stand alone MPB's are easily possible, but you will need a chiller, an a/c, and everything else that makes a MPB a mpb.

I run only 4 MPB's right now and I can tell you just 4 will be doing great.

There is a light setup for a "Texas" setup. 3 Plants, 3 lights.

The entire thing could be built and implemented for less than say $2000

A/C = 350
Air pump = 250
Water pumps = 200
Chiller = 400
Mini Resses = 40 each or 120
Drain and main res = 150
Light controller = 130

Leaves about 500 for things like construction, etc. If you need lights, your looking at an extra 750 for 3 1k hps and bulbs (budget-gro and hortilux..)

So even if you are starting from scratch, your looking at 2500-3000 depending on ballasts. :anim_19:
