Thank you. I just replied to the topic of interest. I am interested if it will be approved or not. What is your experience? Is it fair and balanced here? Or are certain opinions and alternative viewpoints silenced?

Doesn’t cost anything to check it out! It’s the only forum I have participated in, so I really don’t have any thing to compare to! I think all opinions are welcome here! As long as you stick loosely to pot growing! If you have some kind of political or religious ax to grind, then you may run into some problems! I’ve been here 4 or 5 years And haven’t been banned yet! Real close! But not yet! there’s usually plenty of warning if you’re getting Too far out of line! It’s Pretty mellow!

The warnings are an indication, thank you. I can understand that politcal/religious topics are not the focus of this website, and how that could be challenging to handle, especially relying on free labor of volunteers doing moderation. It would likely be something that would need a paid team to handle if not a complex ai system.

I have seen opposing information to what you describe, and this is just one of the first examples I came across. In my research I came across the one I will paste a link to. It seems like there are what I call "minders" that participate in silencing, or cancel culture of alternative opinions or viewpoints that don't align with certain narrowed context. Here, someone is literally screaming for a cancelation/silencing simply because their opinion differs and they expressed it. Perhaps these are removed before you notice them? Have you noticed threads or posts that just vanish?

They sure are taking a lot of time to approve my post in the topic of interest compared to the posts here. The voluntary help probably has to check with the higher-ups before they make the decision. The post on this thread you cant see yet, before this one, is still waiting for approval, but this one is not? Interesting. It does contain a link, so this may be an automated system.

They may have enabled the approval filter after some spammers made it through a few days ago and made a mess of things. Once they determine you're not here to sell cheap Viagra you should be good to go.
