What would be the grow area be with 3 600watt lights

That's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' kind of question. Most people put single 600s over 1m2, so probably 3m2 - but with the benefits of overlapping light if you do it in a T shape. I know a guy who grows 4 plants under 3 600s and pulls 22oz consistently.

For me would be 3 x 9'. Used to pull right around 1 lb per light in hydro in an open system like that.

I was thinkin then maybe 3'4"x10'. Sea of green 75 plants in 1 gallon grow bags

I used to use 3x600 and had a grow area of 7 x 4. I was growing single style cola sativas and yields were ~ 1g/w.

I believe a 600w can cover a 3ft x 3ft area or slightly smaller 2.5ft x 3ft.
And a 1k light is great for 3ft x 4ft imo.
