I waited longer this year, but I guess it still was too soon.
Thought if I set the lights at 14 hrs. inside, then put them outside everything would be gravy.
Mother nature is slapping down me down again. Just like she did you.

So you caught a male early no sacks opened no pollen spread right? And just 1 so far. But no females are flowering yet right? I'd rather grow regs when i've got a pantry full of jarred bud but i can't right now cause my cubboard is bare. Regs are so much stronger i've found.

I have! Cutest little balls and flowers you ever laid eyes on! Just before they got stomped into the ground in a fit of rage! and wasn’t mad at them! Mad at my own gross stupidity! They were doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing!

I’m putting a call into ASPCTM , this kind of stuff has to stop. Be a responsible grower, control your emotions!

Fuck, I was dumb enough to do it twice! After the second time, I figured it was time for a little introspection! Walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror and confronted the real culprit!!!

Yep, just one male so far. I examined all the others and I'm not seeing pre-flowers.
What gave him away was the scent. Opened the greenhouse and could tell something fishy was goin on.

I just got home. I’m going to give my plants the sniff test. If I can’t figure out sex of the plants that way, I’m gonna roll up a female from last season and sniff away.

Oh, and I transplanted 13 autos into black plastic pots that aren't a gallon, 2.9quarts.
One of each and then a couple more. They are sooooo tiny! 8 days old.

i have indica doms showing sex that small sometimes. most of the banjo x haymeadow ive started have clearly shown sex by node 5/6, even the females. Im expecting to be able to see some early preflowers with the loupe on the pb4 x haymeadow in the next coupe weeks too. They haymeadow male i used for crosses last fall was clearly showing by node 5 or 6 too.


Thats right on time though for most heavy indicas, and sometimes they dont make the tiny preflowers they just start making full size preflowers right away. i dont think that plant looks confused personally.
