Looks like it could have been a mouse. In fact, I think I see a mouse turd in the second-to-last pic.

Put down glue traps around the pots. It wouldn't surprise me if that was done by a mouse.

That might be it. Jerry and George bout get evicted. First sign of stem issue was with bigger plant start of flower. Everything else been in veg
