Dark purple residue on blades?

Greetings all!

Alright, i've had this happen a few times to me, but i still forget that i have this crazy resource now, so i'm finally asking you guys.

Sometimes, when i take clones, i get a dark purple residue on my blade.
I use simple rubbing alcohol, sometimes pure methanol hydrate, to sanitize the blade, before letting it air before use.
I'm pretty sure i've had this happen when using both, but since no real effects have been correlated between this and crap clones, so i haven't really kept track. lol

Anyhoo, has anyone else had this happen and/or do you know why?

No telling, probably some type of oxidation of the alloys in the blade. Maybe something in the plant's juice acts as a catalyst. Shootin' in the dark bro. :)

Ya, that's what i was thinking.
I do everything the same... sometimes it happens, sometimes not.

I just figured i'd ask in case it was a new, more potent strain of Necrotizing Fasciitis or something! :evilgrin0031:

Ive had it happen lots of times when i take cuts from my purple mamas.
