This Northern Lights Auto from Silver Leaf is on day 38 and its giving me a headache. I noticed Calmag deficiencies early on in the grow and have been trying to combat this by giving Epsom Salt with every watering, along with Molasses as standard. This seemed to temporarily resolve the issue at the time, but it has come back with vengeance. I have removed many of the severely affected fan leaves but new brown spots pop up regularly.

Just a couple days ago now I also noticed yellowing of the fan leaves, originating from the veins and spreading across.

I'm guessing this is a pH issue, but growing organically with soil I don't want to mess with it. I topdressed with 2-8-4 on day 30, which is when some clawing of the larger fans cropped up.

She is grown under 120w LEDs. She has a tendency to droop for several days post watering, I have tried watering less and less but she will still droop. Soil moisture has ranged between 5 - 55%

Does anybody have any ideas for resolution? Thanks

I suspect this is what you need to focus on. Since I did it myself, and we see it often, I suspect overwatering. The plant wants the dirt to damn near dry out between waterings. If your dirt is moist today, I recommend you add no more water until the pot feels super light and maybe even wait for the leaves to show true wilting.

This is a fair page with some pictures that might help: https://www.growweedeasy.com/drooping-over-water-cannabis-vs-under-water-cannabis

Excellent, I shall take your advice and avoid watering now for a while

Soil moisture is at 8% and she is looking much perkier but is really lacking. I'm not sure what.

Currently I'm brewing a compost tea to just bomb her with nutes and hope it fixes the problem once she's ready for it.

The brown spots seem to have resided, however she is developing really distinct yellow patterning on the fan leaves.

Please give me your best guesses.

Update: She is completely yellow

I'm now questioning if she is really over watered, or of I have a poor watering technique.

I'm going to try and raise the pot off the floor to allow better aeration of the root zone and faster drying of the deep medium.

When watering I've never even seen runoff, watered a maximum amount of 500ml and was very irregular.

Perhaps I compacted the soil too much at the bottom also

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Maybe you locked out the nutes. It would be more helpful if you posted more details in regards to the whole grow from the start. I would have no idea but others would probably comment if you gave more details. If that’s an auto I think you over fed. How old, what soil, what water (tds), 3 gallon pot, etc? Organically you shouldn’t be adding any nutes, just some good water. There are some good threads from the masters about growing organically you should check out too. I think you gave too much love if you know what I mean. It looks like you have a nice setup to grow tho, I wish you the best bruh!

Here she was yesterday. Notice the brown patches that have formed along the central veins on the fan leaves. I checked her just now 4 large fan leaves have fallen off.

Growing medium is a blend of:
-Compost
-Peat moss
-Perlite
-4-4-4
-2-8-4
-inoculated with Mycozzhizal fungi

Today is day 46 since germination.

RH is 60%

Temp 22 - 27c

She gets watered with a dose Molasses and Epsom Salt every watering, approximately 500 - 700ml until moisture level reaches 50%. When the soil reaches moisture level below 10% (~4 day intervals) she gets watered again

This is my second grow so I'm very inexperienced, just using advice from online reading. My first grow also had issues, where leaves also yellowed early and had brown spots

Water until there is run off and don't water again until that pot feels light.

What size pots? Try watering until runoff and check your ph.
I don’t think they are getting enough water and should be about every 2-3 days.
Adding amendments will alter your ph possibly locking out nutes
