Ok, I know it's weird, but cutting stuff off my plants freaks me out 😂.
I've seen that you should wait till around week 2-3 of Flower before doing your last major defoiliation. Well, that's where I'm at. I was thinking about just removing everything that's under the trellis, but would that be too much?
Silver haze has a ton of tiny branches shooting all the way from the bottom to the canopy, it's so dense in there it's crazy!
While blue dream has hardly any small branches at all, but it does have alot of dying leaves under the trellis.

What you suggested is what I always do. So yeah, I would remove everything that didnt make it to the net, from removing leaves to pinching shitty bud sites and remove any shitty stem if any (stems that didnt make it to the net, if its a thin stem that has shitty buds but made it to the net and has a good top I might remove everything on that stem and leave only the 3 upper buds). Waiting for the 2-3 week is a guideline, once they stop stretching you can do the lollipop and most strains do that around the 2-3rd week mark.
Looking nice by the way!

Alright, so that was painful but this is what I ended up with. They seem to be doing okay, going to check them in a few hours and see if there's any distress.
They look good! 👊👊👊

Nice! Doesnt look like the lollipop bothered them at all but they look like they had a bit too much water and nitrogen. Also a few yellow tips creeping in, keep that in check, those are all signs of nute excess. Did you increase the dose last feeding? Did you water until the runoff was sitting on the plates for a few hours? I always try to water without runoff, when Im not sure how much it can hold I water until a tiny bit of runoff and I have an idea on how much to use next time.
Lift the pots with something if you can, you can buy arlite/expanded clay pebbles and put it on the plate below the pots, its cheap. Its very porous so even if there's water siting there it will keep the bottom of the pot oxygenated.
If you want, for the next grow you can use the arlite on the bottom of your pots before putting the soil so you will have the drainage system inside the pots. Roots grow through arlite so it doesnt bother the plant at all nor do you lose growing space in the pot. If it comes dirty you have to wash it though.

If you didnt increase the dosage it might be the case that now that they have way less vegetal matter they dont want as much food for now.

Thanks man! That's great advice! I didn't increase my feeding dose and my runoff is usually about 100ml after giving .5gal. The fabric pots are sitting on a raised grate so they're not sitting directly in the drain pan. I water about every 2 days and feed every 4, I do feel like that's alot but they dry out pretty fast, I lift the pots before watering and they're always very light. However, the this past week they haven't seemed as light as before. So, maybe I need to give another day in between watering. I'll definitely be doing the arlite with my next grow!

Here some pics I took yesterday, been almost a week since lollipoping and I think they're looking great! I am giving an extra day to water, the pots were on the heavier side yesterday.
My only question is; should I remove these super long small branches that are growing off the main branches? They almost reach the canopy but not quite, and now they're getting covered by the leaves of the main branches. There's about a 5" gap between the main canopy and the canopy of all these small branches. I'd hate to put more stress on her, but at this point with how long they are, I don't know if they would just be sucking nutrients.

Here's how i do my photoperiods about 4th wk of flower. As i look down onto the canopy if i can't see soil i remove enough inside leaf to see it, not a huge amount just enough and if i have " pencil lead " size stems inside i remove them. The more times you grow the more you'll understand and see how it effects plants growth/bud growth. So i also move my pots around in the tent, what i try to do is " mimic " how the outdoor plants are hit by the sun as the earth moves the sun hits plants on opposite sides. This is just my way it may sound half crazy to some but it's worked for me. Good luck your plants look great.

Thanks! Ok, I'll reevaluate them in about a week and trim off the necessary stuff 👍
