Did I fix this stem split right?

Howdy y'all. I was doing some last minute training and split my plant at the top. I repaired it with some plastic string.

Is this acceptable? Anything I need to watch out for?

Yeah, sometimes this happens and we just have to mend them the best we can with enough room for growth and healing...We use pipe cleaners for our LST and mending...Best of Luck and Speedy Recovery too!

Id actually use duct tape then have 2 stakes one ea side supporting the branch thats taking all the weight...
