Inherited some plants last season, first time grow. Ended up with a bountiful harvest from a herm plant. Using the few seeds that come from each cola, they seem to germinate and start well enough, but the stalks are spindly and bend/break after they are 1-2” high.
Should I just purchase some quality seed? I really wanted to continue this line as it comes from Hawaii and has potential (if the grower gets his act together).

Once they come up put them under a light or outside whichever you are doing.plants grown by a window sill will always grow tall and lanky and eventually fall over..

I can't tell from the pic but are those in a dome or something? I've only seen that happen usually in a dome. I think it's from "damping off" from too much humidity and pathogens such as fungi.

If they are in fact in some sort of dome try taking it off you don't need domes for seeds

No dome. Likely too wet. Temps finally warm enough to start the next set outdoors.
